Porter parents are EXPECTED to:
- Participate in 10 hours of school related activities for each child enrolled at Porter (parent workshops, mentoring, volunteer programs, PTCO/PTA, or advisory).
- Support the Prince William County Public Schools Code of Behavior.
- Support the Porter Code of Conduct, policies, and academic standards.
- Reinforce appropriate behavior standards, study habits, and good attendance.
- Promote self-esteem, self-respect and self-empowerment.
Parent Involvement
Important communication from the Principal and teachers will be sent home on Wednesdays in the school “Patriot” folder. Please be sure to check your child’s folder every Wednesday.
